The Design Philosophy
This Bangalore home balances the practical needs of daily life. By sticking to a balanced material palette—rich woods, polished stone, and soft neutrals—the design achieves a “snatched,” curated look that feels timeless. Whether it’s the bold geometry of the foyer or the soft, functional corners of the bedroom, every detail has been intentionally placed to create a home that is as beautiful to look at as it is to live in.
Project Highlight: The use of vertical lines and transparent partitions throughout the house ensures that the 2250 sqft area feels significantly more voluminous and connected.
The Living Room: Breathable Luxury
The living area is defined by its openness and the seamless flow of light. A standout feature is the wooden grid partition, which acts as a transparent boundary between the formal seating and the rest of the home. This architectural element provides structure without sacrificing the airy, expansive feel of the 2250 sqft floor plan.
- The Media Wall: A textured stone backdrop behind the TV unit adds an earthy, tactile quality to the room, contrasting beautifully with the smooth wood cabinetry.
- The Furniture: Mid-century modern influences are evident in the slim-profile wooden armchairs and the low-slung, circular coffee table.
