This residential project is a thoughtful exploration of modern living where clean architectural lines are softened by rich materials, layered textures, and a calming connection to the outdoors. Designed as a cohesive yet expressive home, each space reflects a balance between functionality, comfort, and refined aesthetics.
With limited square footage, every design element served a purpose while contributing to the overall visual appeal of the home. This was focused on smart space planning, a vibrant orange kitchen, and maximizing storage in a compact layout, creating a home that feels spacious, organized, and full of character. Strategic furniture placement and multi-functional elements also helped in maximizing usability while keeping the interiors visually light and organized.
Living Room
This feature wall immediately adds warmth and depth to the space. The natural wood tone introduces an organic element that softens the modern design, while the vertical lines create the illusion of higher ceilings and a more expansive room.
Complementing the wood is a beautifully finished marble accent wall. The subtle veining of the marble provides visual interest without overwhelming the room, creating a balanced contrast between smooth stone and textured wood. The decor in this living room follows a minimalist philosophy
The arched glass partition behind the chair serves as a subtle architectural highlight. Framed in black metal with textured glass panels, the arch introduces a graceful silhouette that contrasts beautifully with the straight lines of the wooden paneling.
This design element not only separates spaces visually but also allows light to flow through the interior, maintaining an open and airy feel.
Master Bedroom
This bedroom design explores the harmony between minimal structure and inviting warmth. The focal point of the space is the striking grid-panel accent wall, where soft concrete-textured panels are framed by bold black lines. The bedding includes a textured beige blanket and decorative pillows with woven and ribbed textures, adding depth and coziness.
A rich burnt–orange upholstered headboard adds depth and character to the neutral environment. Its vertical channeling provides subtle texture and visual softness, contrasting beautifully with the strong linear pattern of the wall behind it. Thus balancing clean contemporary lines with warm materials and textures, which is modern and deeply comfortable.
Kitchen
While the kitchen introduces bold color. This combination prevents the space from feeling overwhelming while still allowing certain design elements to stand out. The bold orange cabinetry introduces warmth and energy. To balance the brightness of the orange surfaces, lighter elements such as pine cabinetry or accents are incorporated. This contrast creates depth while maintaining a modern aesthetic.
The patterned dado tiles bring character and artistry to the kitchen. This interplay of patterns and solids adds depth to the overall design without making the space feel cluttered.
