Golden Grand Renovation
Location - Yeshwanthpura, Bangalore
Type - Residential Renovation
Area - 1825 sqft
This 1825 square foot residential project was to entirely revamp an old house into a modern living area characterized by coziness, practicality, and timeless materials. The renovation involved a full interior upgrade, including the replacement of existing flooring tiles, removal of all old furniture, and the interposing of fully customized furniture, tailored specifically to the needs of the homeowners.
The design approach focused on creating a calm and cohesive interior palette built around warm oak veneer and subtle grey concrete finishes. The materials were carefully chosen to establish a balanced contrast where the warmth of natural wood meets the understated sophistication of concrete textures.
The new tiles were selected to enhance spatial continuity while providing durability and easy maintenance. Their neutral tones help unify the various living areas while complementing the overall material palette used throughout the home. All existing furniture was removed to allow the space to be redesigned from the ground up. Custom-designed furniture now defines each room, ensuring that every piece fits seamlessly within the architecture of the home. From the living room units and wardrobes to storage solutions and built-in elements, each piece was crafted to maximize both functionality and aesthetics.
