A Refined Urban Sanctuary: Contemporary Warmth Meets Timeless Elegance
This interior project is a study in balance where modern sophistication meets inviting warmth, and carefully curated materials create a cohesive living experience. Designed as a serene urban retreat, the space reflects a deep attention to detail, materiality, and spatial flow, resulting in an environment that feels both elevated and effortlessly livable.
Entry- Foyer & Circulation: A Thoughtful Transition
The entry corridor sets the tone for the entire home. Textured wallcoverings paired with wood wainscoting create a tactile and visually engaging passage. A sleek console and mirror introduce functionality without overwhelming the space, while soft ceiling lighting guides movement naturally toward the living areas.
This transitional zone is not merely a passage but an experience—quietly introducing the material language and design philosophy of the home.
Bedroom: A Private Retreat
The bedroom is designed as a tranquil sanctuary. A tall upholstered headboard framed by textured wallcovering creates a focal point that is both luxurious and calming. Deep burgundy accents in the cushions and drapery introduce warmth and sophistication, while soft, neutral bedding ensures a restful atmosphere.
Secondary Bedroom: Modern Serenity
In contrast, the secondary bedroom adopts a slightly cooler tone with green and earthy hues. The wall treatment combines wood panels and glass partitions, offering a contemporary edge while maintaining warmth. The layered bedding and minimal décor keep the space uncluttered, emphasizing comfort and simplicity.
Dining Space: Sculptural Simplicity
The dining area is defined by a striking marble table supported by a geometric base, creating a sense of grounded elegance. A backdrop of dark wood cabinetry with glass panels provides storage while maintaining visual lightness. This interplay between solid and transparent surfaces enhances the spatial depth and continuity with adjacent areas.
